We wake up again today and are feeling so happy. The energy in this place is phenomenal. There is something about having the benefit of a big house, good food, safe environment, amazing climate, and large energy centers to make us feel great! It also helps with our productivity:) We call all the media for the event tomorrow, and work on logistical things for the route and website.
The route is changing so that we do not drive directly through the Navaho Nation. Consulting with a Native American, he suggests that this would be quite dangerous as it is desert, the cell phone reception is not great, and there are less gas stations than on the interstate. So, Ali and Shah spend time remapping the route. We are still on schedule to arrive in Durango on Friday.
The afternoon is really our rest day. Ali and Kristian go on a hike around the mountains of Sedona (partial Broken Arrow hike / partial rock climbing). While on the hike Kristian and Ali experience the awesome vistas that only Sedona has to offer. Shah and Christy go to the Bell Rock Vortex. When Shah and Christy pick Kristian and Ali, we are all full of stories about how amazing our day has been. Shah and Christy then take Ali and Kristian to experience the Bell Rock Vortex. This is a truly phenomenal place.
Ali and Kristian make a resolution to sleep there the next night, but first, we must all go home and prepare for the two presentations at the Boys and Girls Clubs. Yeah!
