Today, Kristian awakes early as Debra Poneman has arranged to pay for Casper to be fixed at a local gas station. Not only has she taken Ali and Kristian out for numerous meals, opened her fridge and cooked for, been a committed host by helping to organize an event for us, given us numerous other things, and, above all, made us feel at home, she is now going to pay a few hundred bucks to get our support vehicle tuned-up! Debra spent all this time with us all while she is recreating her Yes to Success Seminars, writing another book having just finished authoring the soon to be released Chicken Soup for the American Idol's Soul!
Saying good-bye is really hard as we had so much rest and fun staying with the Poneman family. Driving half-way to our last stopping off point, Kristian and Ali realize it is too late and raining too much to get any significant distance for the rest of the day's cycle. They decide to drive to just outside Indianapolis, IN to Lebanon, IN so that they can have a full day the next day!
Arriving at 10pm in Lebanon, it is too late to go out for something to eat. A disappointment for us is that we missed one of the biggest party of the year (besides the Indy 500) in Indianapolis. The Superbowl winning Colts were hosting New Orleans, and the city had a huge party. It's OK though because we have a big day tomorrow.
